The American magazine Forbes has released its updated list of dollar billionaires. New names on the list include singer Beyoncé, tennis player Roger Federer and film director James Cameron. According to the ranking, most of the new billionaires are self-made individuals who built their wealth through their own business or creative success.

New Famous Faces Among Dollar Billionaires
American singer Beyoncé, whose full name is Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, has appeared on the Forbes billionaire list for the first time this year. The former Destiny’s Child member and long-time solo performer has surpassed the one-billion-dollar mark thanks to music sales, global concert tours and investments in art collections.
Her husband, rapper Jay-Z, has already been featured on the billionaire list for several years, with Forbes currently estimating his wealth at 2.8 billion dollars. Another musician who crossed the billion-dollar threshold this year is American rapper Dr. Dre, who famously sold the Beats by Dre headphone brand to Apple in 2014.

Sport, Film and Startups Bring New Billionaires
Swiss tennis legend Roger Federer also entered the billionaire ranking this year with an estimated net worth of 1.1 billion dollars. In addition to his highly successful tennis career, which includes 20 Grand Slam singles titles, a significant portion of his wealth comes from his investment in the Swiss footwear company On Running.
Canadian director James Cameron, known for blockbuster films such as Titanic, Avatar and Terminator, has also joined the billionaire ranks with a fortune estimated at 1.1 billion dollars. Forbes notes that nearly two-thirds of the new billionaires are self-made entrepreneurs. Among them are the three 22-year-old founders of the AI-driven recruitment startup Mercor. Meanwhile, Elon Musk, founder of Tesla and the AI startup xAI, remains the richest person in the world, while Czech businessman Michal Strnad, owner of the Czechoslovak Group (CSG), is listed as the richest person in the Czech Republic.
