British company Revolut can start offering crypto currency on American markets

Fintech company Revolut entered American markets back in March. Now it has finally received an authorization to offer crypto payment transactions to its clients.

Users in 49 U.S. states, excluding Tennessee, can now transfer money to cryptocurrency. Revolut clients can buy bitcoin and ethereum and convert them into 28 different fiat currencies. To make this happen, Revolut has partnered with New York-based Paxos. 

Revolut offers transferring crypto payments in Litecoin or Bitcoin cash in Europe. The company charges a fee of 2,5% for standard customers, and premium customers are charged with 1,5% fee. Revolut has got million customers all over Europe. 

The British fintech company plans to expand further – to Asia-Pacific region. Australia, Singapore and Japan are first countries to be involved. However, Revolut first plans to expand with its key product, which is mediating payment transactions in common currencies.
